Xin Er Lee officially launched Lush Looks full-time in 2018 after freelancing part-time for 8 years. She loves all things related to makeup and hairstyling, and makes sure she's constantly kept abreast of the latest trends, techniques and skills. Having been trained in Singapore, Taiwan and Malaysia, Xin Er is well-versed with Asian Bridal styles. She had also attended Hair Master Classes conducted by Lena Bogucharskaya and Kasia Fortuna in 2019 and 2020.

It all started from tying hair for sister, friends and cousins when she was young. She has always been passionate about hairstyling and makeup which pushed her to take up a Professional Bridal Makeup and Hair styling course in 2010 under the tutelage of an experienced Taiwanese makeup artist, Sandy Chen, in Singapore while she was studying for her degree in NUS.

After she graduated, she started and worked at her own tuition centre till 2017 when she decided she wanted to be a full-time makeup artist instead. Lifeworks in mysterious ways. Though she wasn’t actively looking for new makeup clients during the time when she was running her own centre, she was still helping her returning clients look good for any events that they were going for.

In April 2018, she flew to Taiwan for a 5-day Intensive Advanced Bridal Makeup and Hairstyling course with Julie Lin. With the newest makeup techniques and hairstyling skills under my belt, she came back in the industry to make not only brides, but also their moms, mothers-in-law, and bridesmaids pretty. Lush Looks' style is elegant, natural, and understated.
