After discovering her love for make-up and hairstyling, Ling chose to leave a stable corporate job to pursue her passion. Well-recognised for her skills and artistry in the wedding industry, Ling’s Palette is one of the trusted names when it comes to hair and makeup, beautifying brides not only on their big day but also during their local or overseas pre-wedding photoshoots. With careful and intricate handwork, Ling creates mesmerising artwork out of her brides’ tresses – be it the wonders of a French twist, braided buns, or loose waves for any hair length. She aims to bring out her brides’ innate beauty and highlight their best features, all without being overly dramatic and while respecting their styles and preferences.

Having been in the corporate world after graduating from the National University of Singapore, she decided to take her passion in makeup to the next level as a professional artist. She takes joy in experimenting with the different makeup techniques and beauty products, and her styles and skills continue to be enhanced with refined novelty.

Here’s her aim: "There is no single definition of beauty and I believe that every woman is beautiful in her own rights. Therefore I emphasize on bringing out her best features while making sure that her makeup is still as natural as possible. I prefer the natural style of makeup with a flawless complexion as the canvas."

​She gets greatest satisfaction from seeing her brides transform into a more polished version of themselves on their biggest day and earning compliments from their loved ones. All this can only be possible by a bespoke service that aims to understand and cater to their needs and wants. ​

​In 2016, she won the 16 Top Bridal Makeup Artists by online wedding magazine OneThreeOneFour. In 2017, she got the 2nd Runner-Up in Makeup & Hair Category at Vanitee Awards by online beauty services app, Vanitee and the Trending Bridal Makeup Artists by Singapore Brides. In 2018, she bacame the 1st in the 9 Noteworthy Wedding Makeup Artists by The Wedding Vows and the 2nd in 62 Best Makeup Artists in Singapore by Daily Vanity, and then one of the 12 Noteworthy Makeup Artists by Wedding Vow.
In 2019, she also had amazing awards such as Popular Bridal Makeup Artists by Singapore Brides and one of the 10 Makeup Artist Singapore Brides will Love by Cleo Magazine.
